The 2014 Nuffield Australia National Conference will be held at the Country Club Tasmania in Launceston, which is easy and accessible from Launceston Airport.
Dates for the two-day conference are Thursday, 18th and Friday, 19th September and will be followed by a post-conference technical tour involving visits to leading Tasmanian agribusinesses from Saturday 20th to Monday 22nd September.
Themes include the effectiveness of agricultural advocacy groups and corporate financing for agriculture.
Among the keynote speakers are Maurice Moloney, Executive Director Agribusiness at CSIRO, Mick Keogh from the Australian Farm Institute and Victorian dairy farmer Anne McGrath.
In addition, there will be returning scholar presentations, Global Focus Program and Contemporary Scholars Conference reports, the George Wilson Oration and awards to the 2015 scholars.
