The Next Gen program has been developed in response to a major issue the sugar cane industry is facing regarding its main asset – its farmers.

The industry has identified a need to entice young farmers into a career in agriculture, specifically in the sugar cane industry.

It is also important to ensure the more established farmer is encouraged to transfer the wealth of their knowledge to the incoming generation and that they are exposed all available resources to ensure sustainability of the cane industry.

Next Gen is committed to providing cutting edge information to farmers via a number of communication outlets as well as assisting in personal and professional development, training advice & support along with social networking and gatherings.
